To get a learner car (C class) licence in Queensland your first step is to complete PrepL or the written road rules test.
You can complete PrepL online, at your own pace. If you choose to complete the written road rules test instead, you can do this at a transport and motoring customer service centre.
Once you have passed PrepL or the written road rules test, and are at least 16 years old, you can apply for your learner licence.
Our driving lessons can be 60, 90 or 120 mins long.
It is highly recommended to be having 90min lessons where possible, this is the 'sweet spot' for learning but it's not too tiring also.
Our instructor/owner also undertakes a Defensive & Responsible Driver Training course every 2 years with Safe Drive Training (SDT).
Our instructor also has current and active commercial driving experience.
Operating a driving school takes a lot of time and has a lot of expenses, such as fuel, servicing, accreditation, development as well as multiple insurances. we pride ourself on giving individual, personalised lessons and I believe in you get what you pay for.
Yes, we offer both! Automatic in our driving school car and can offer manual lessons in a car you supply. We can also provide auto lessons in your car if required.
Yes, the first 10 hours with an accredited driver trainer is worth triple time in your logbook.
Night hours are set hour for hour however.
Also you can have more than 10 hours of tuition with a driving instructor and is something we would recommend to ensure you are getting the full learning experience you need to become a defensive driver.
All lessons are to be paid via internet banking direct deposit, 24hrs prior to lesson.
Credit card can be accepted for existing students on the day however the 2.2% fee applies
